GSSC Government Primary School Teacher Notification 2026 Out for 390 Vacancies

Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC) is inviting applications for the recruitment of Government Primary School Teachers under the Directorate of Education, Goa. A total of 390 vacancies are available, including 352 posts for Marathi Medium and 38 posts for Konkani Medium schools. Candidates must possess the required teaching qualifications such as D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed/B.Ed, along with Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualification, minimum two years of teaching experience, and knowledge of Konkani language. Goa SSC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

i) Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/D.Ed) or equivalent,
OR 
12th with 45% marks with Diploma as per NCTE rules, or 4-year B.El.Ed, or B.Ed with a 6-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education. 

ii) Applicants must also have a valid Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) certificate, minimum two years teaching experience in recognized primary schools, and knowledge of Konkani language. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.

GSSC Government Primary School Teacher Recruitment 2026 How to Apply

Candidates must apply online only through the official website of the Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC). First, visit the website gssc.goa.gov.in and complete the online registration by creating a login ID and password. After registration, carefully fill out the application form with personal, educational, and experience details. Upload the required documents such as educational certificates, TET certificate, experience certificate, domicile certificate, caste/disability/EWS certificate (if applicable), and photograph/signature.
